Jeffrey Choi is the Lead Pastor of Orchard Church. Raised in the San Fernando Valley, he studied at UC Irvine and Westminster Seminary California before spending a decade serving in a local church in New York City. After returning to California, Jeffrey partnered with Alex McKee to plant Orchard Church and now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. He is passionate about helping people see how the kingdom of God shapes everyday life—and unwinds by running, CrossFit, and enduring life as a New York Jets fan.
Alex McKee was born in Plymouth, England, and raised primarily in Dallas, Texas. After moving to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue music, he earned a Master of Music from USC and worked with film composers before sensing a call to ministry. Alex spent the next nine years serving the church in various roles and, in 2023, helped plant Orchard Church, where he now serves as Worship Director. Outside of ministry and music, he enjoys long-distance running, cars, and sharing stories over a single-origin pour-over coffee—preferably from Kenya.
Sandra Oh is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Orchard Church. She grew up in the San Gabriel Valley, earned a B.A. in English from Yale University, and later completed a California teaching credential through CSULA, teaching high school science for six years—including one year in Eagle Rock. Sandra has a deep passion for helping children know God’s love and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their son, and enjoys life with their family cat.
